I just showed this to JJ & he rolled his eyes at me when I said I needed one. Guess that just means I will be building it myself (which just means it will be done right the first time instead of taking 3-4 tries & wasting a ton of materials). I think I will make mine in two pieces half that size though. I'm short so a 4ft stretch to reach chicks would have me falling into the brooder head first. 2 sections 2x4 each will work better for me. I'll just have to build 2 sets to keep up with MCF. ;)

preaching to the choir there. Nearly everything I've been working on is coming from supplies I had in the barn

I wish I had supplies laying around. In the past month & a half I lost 2 chicken coops, 3 duck/goose pens, a turkey pen & a goat pen. I haven't been able to get my call duck pen, banty tractor, big outdoor brooder or most of my fencing from the last move yet so will likely lose those as well. Between losses from stress, weather & idiots who moved my birds without checking with me first when I wasn't there & didn't know what they were doing and having to sell off most of what was left so I could afford to feed them once all my money went to moving, I went from over 200 birds down to 56 in less than a month & a half.
