Heritage rir just popped. As did an unknown green shell. Lol ill have to look at the other shells in that box to see what that one is. Looks like an ee tho. Bunch more pips when I checked again. Did wet down a few dry membranes by hand. I need to find a syringe for wetting.. it works soo much better.

Usually if there is a malposition pip I catch them first, but I dont see any of those on the topsides anyways!

I went the cheap route. . Sharpies... lol. Should be able to get some bands ordered this weekend

I always use nail polish. A dot on the head works great. Also works great to seal cracked eggs. That's the only way I have ever gotten any cracked ones to hatch. Wax never works for me.

Well, Jays, the eggs that were supposed to go to you hatched yesterday. I didn't send them due to the weather, just threw them in the bator. I'm actually glad that I didn't send them because out of 48 eggs I had collected for you, 26 were not fertile! I NEVER have fertility problems! Of the other 22 eggs, 18 hatched. If I had a way to get them to you, I would, but I think they are going on Craigslist. I will send you some eggs later, if you want.

Chicks actually ship almost as cheaply as eggs if you have a chick box available.

By the time I could get a chick box, they would be older and the weather would be cold again. We are expecting another artic blast next week. I was hoping to find a person driving that way who would let them hitch a ride.
