First ancona from my eggs hatched yesterday. Apparently my birds are hiding their chocolate from me...lol

Hectic day. Managed to set 20 dozen barred rocks today. Hoping Ill be able to make an order and provide the charities with a good number of birds as well. Fingers crossed.

All duck eggs lol. The 2 good ones were the only 2 chicken eggs

You may have gotten more turkey eggs than I thought. If you got any of these little tan speckled ones they may be the first eggs from my palm hen that I didn't think was laying yet. I thought these were coming from 1 of my EE pullets that just started laying & had an odd colored egg. Apparently some turkeys lay eggs this dark.

UPDATE:
1 of these little speckled eggs just hatched. Definitely was NOT a turkey. Apparently I was right to begin with when I said it was 1 of my rainbow birds laying yet another odd color...lol

Ok got them candled tonight. Pulled 5 chicken. All blood rings.
6 ancona. 2 blood rings 4 no goes.
2 slate no goes.3 slate palms no goes.

Some may have gotten too cold. We dropped back into the teens a couple times while I was collecting these.
