Loki's plan never made sense:
Loki was the second son, and as Thor was good at everything valued, Loki always took second place. Loki manipulates Thor to go to Jotunheim, getting him banished. For going and kicking butt with the Frost Giants. Odin falls into the Odinsleep, Loki is Asgard's regent. He goes and tells Thor he can't come back, and then tries to wipe out the Frost Giants to prove to Odin he is a worthy son. Even though going and bashing Frost Giant heads is what got Thor banished. So...
?!?!?!?!

You will notice here that Loki has shredded his feet, he is a complete mess.

How long did Thor have to wait around while he cleaned himself up then? And wouldn't he be wincing with every step? And wouldn't his fingernails also be a mess?

True... except that in the scene, I believe there were red berries on the ground from the table, so he may have stepped on them:rolleyes:
But yeah, I imagine him taking a ridiculous amount of time getting ready, just to annoy Thor
 
Yeah, I could see that. I would actually rather believe he did that to himself, not stepped on a berry, because it adds a whole new level to his pain and guilt.
