Can I just say, I have the ultimate, UTIMATE proof, that nothing WHATSOEVER makes any at all sense in the MCU:

*Long Marvel conversation over dinner that leads up to this point*
Mum: Where did Loki orginonate from? He's adopted right.
YB: Frost Giant land.
Me: Jotunheim.
YB: Same thing.
Mum: Why doesn't he change back?
Me: Huh?
Mum: What does a Frost Giant look like?
Me: 10 foot, blue skin, red eyes.
YB: No hair.
Mum: Well, why doesn't he look like a Frost Giant?
Me: Because Odin put him under an enchantment.
Mum: Why doesn't he change back?
YB: He can only do that when touching Frost Giant Magic.
Mum: I mean, why doesn't he take on his original form?
Me: Because he lives in Asgard, and Asgardians HATE Frost Giants.
Mum: But he was angry with them and trying to kill them...So?..
Me: Well, maybe he can't.
Mum: What?
Me: It could have possibly been a permanent spell. After all, he was never suspossed to find out.
Mum: Then what was the reason for taking him in the first place?
Me: As a political tie.
Mum: Yes, but it was a great big secret, how was he supposed to serve as a tie if no one knew he was a Frost Giant.
Me: He was intended for a political tie, but that all fell down. Odin had already adopted him at this point, so he just kept him.
