Also, that would just be weird, they'd be the 'youngest' other than Peter Parker.

This concept always interests me. Do they age linearly with humans? Or do they mature quicker, like in a hundred years or so? I mean, we compare dog years and human years, if 7 dog years = 1 human year, then a year old dog should be 7, but if you were to compare it with body maturity, a year old dog is closer to a 16-17 year old human. So is it like this with humans and Asgardians (and Frost giants/Jotuns)? Sorry, probably reading way too far into this. Fantasy worlds fascinate me
Yeah, good point. It still makes sense to me that they would become adults after humans would, so maybe like in the mid hundreds? Like 400-600?Though it would make more sense if it did take them forever to grow up.
But if you think about it, he acts WAY older then 17-20. More like 24+. And Thor about the same.
I've seen some people saying that the "we were eight at the time" could have stood for something more like eighty and he was just shortening it down to their mental age for Bruce, but probably not. Maybe they're a species that matures into adolescence faster but adulthood slower? IDK.But remember, when Thor was like, "There was this time when we were children, he transformed himself into a snake because he knws I love snakes so I went to pick up the snake to admire it and he turned back into himself and was like;'Blargh! Its me!' and he stabbed me. We, were, 8, at the time."
So...
And by THOR, they were both accomplished warriors, with massive backstory, and had been to earth a couple of times.
It could have taken a few hundred years, like you said. That is a new concept for me.Yeah, good point. It still makes sense to me that they would become adults after humans would, so maybe like in the mid hundreds? Like 400-600?

Yeah, it makes sense that they mature faster than I was thinkin' XD
I am also finding this very interesting. This concept always interests me. Do they age linearly with humans? Or do they mature quicker, like in a hundred years or so? It could have taken a few hundred years, like you said. That is a new concept for me.I hadn't thought of that. This has turned into a very interesting debate.
Also, like you said, they could have been 8 then, like we are, and it still takes a few hundred years for them to mature. Or, for example, they could grow to the age equivalent of 10 in ten years and then, it takes, like 100 years for them to mature. (I don't mean I think it is like that, that is just an example of what I am trying to say.) The possabilities for our imaginations to come up with are limitless!
I very rarely cry in movies, and I definitely teared up when Loki "died" in TDW (and of course when Peter diedView attachment 1743433

And the sad bit when no one batted an eyelid.
It is a good, flexible scene where you can laugh or cry.I very rarely cry in movies, and I definitely teared up when Loki "died" in TDW (and of course when Peter died)
I like how they 'leave room for thought'. Then we can just think what we like. People can add their ideas, change perspectives a bit. That's another good theory in my opinion
