There were 25 screenings at our local cinema on the day it came out! We are not be seeing it this coming weekend (I am going away for a weekend, just me) but Mum said that if Dad is in a good mood to see it next weekend we may go! :celebrate

In the main timeline, yes. There was something about him being alive in a deviant timeline from the battle of New York? It wasn't that clear.

Okay, so, they left it really open. When we saw Loki die in A:IW, that was real. BUT Tony and Scott messed up when time-traveling, and let Loki from 2012 escape with the Tesseract, creating a new timeline. This is most likely what the Loki series will be about.
It is also possible he is still hiding in this universe, but his character duplicated.
