MASSACRE...I need a shoulder... :(

We aren't too sure who the dogs belong to but kind of have an idea from what Laynes friends dad told him. But we were in such shock that all we could think of is to get them picked up and disposed of to keep more predators away so we burned them with out thinking. We do have our neighbor as witness to the sight, as he was taking his trash to the burn barrel when we were picking them up. My DH is still going to talk to the folks tomorrow and ask to see their dogs. I can't because I'll start crying...

Thanks for your shoulders all...I learned today that you never know how you'll really react til it happens to you...I always imagined if it happened I would have a totally different reaction than I did. And my DHs reaction shocked me the most, he never ceases to amaze me.

so sorry to hear what happened. I know that feeling - it is devastating to find the bodies like that. You have loved and cared for those birds so carefully and they are wiped out in minutes.
