Actually, I think you can get skunk stink in a bottle. I believe something like that is sold for deer hunters to mask their human scent. That would be funny & probably effective!

I had a problem with a young Pyrenees Pup. I saw it chasing my Free Range Birds in my Pasture. The dog belonged to some people that had land next to the people behind our pasture. I drove down there and told them what happened and they said call us before you shoot it. If you cant get a hold of us then catch it. I told them that there is no way I can catch a Pyrenees. I told them very nicely to keep there dog off my property. A few days later it killed a Rooster that attempted to fight it and I had to kill it. I put the dog in the back of my truck and took it to the owners. They now keep there other 2 dogs on there property. They called the Sheriff and said I abused and killed there dog over a chicken, The Sheriff said if it was chasing after livestock on someone Else property then they can legally shoot it. I don't like killing animals but That dog killed my livestock and that was something necessary to do. I do not think that running them off works well. I would try pepper spray and if that doesn't work I would shoot it to kill. The Animal control wont do anything if you call them. The dog will be gone by the time they get there. You need to look at that dog as a threat and a nuisance to your animals. Let us know what happens.
