I can see it being a mess with the native vegetation here. (But maybe that isn't an issue with chickens. I don't know. I just know that the horses and cows constantly have weeds and pieces of sage brush tangled in their tails and dragging behind them.Yes, they are everything except that. Why don't you want them to be fluffy?

Neither of my Buff Orpington's have this problem at all. They are clean and fluffy!
