It is with some sadness that I need to re-home my pair of geese ): I may be moving under some unfortunate circumstances and I do not know if my new home will accommodate them, as this whole living situation is in limbo. Need to make myself lighter of belongings... Some animals too!
The pair is a 4 or 5 y/o (unsure of his exact age) Embden gander and a 9 month old Brecon Buff goose I bought fall of 2020. She has already laid, so far 9 beautiful yummy eggs. They mate often, I'm unsure if any of the eggs were fertilized as I am not familiar in that area. Maybe somebody would like to have them as a breeding pair? I very much wish for them to remain a pair and stay together where ever they go! Hugo the gander, has already lost 2 wife's to predators and he is very much enamored with his wife, Heather, and it would be a shame for him to loose a third. They have a very good life here and I hope they can have something comparable elsewhere. They are a funny pair with deep characters (especially the gander).
They are FREE to a GOOD HOME! You come pick up! Message me if you are interested. I live 45 minutes east of Portland near Mount Hood.
