Hey there guys! Just had a question. I've had a mated pair of pigeons for about 4 years now, I've usually taken the eggs away though. Recently I let them hatch out a clutch of 2 eggs. They have been doing great, both sitting, no issues. Today the first chick hatched and suddenly the male has become really aggressive. He is sitting on the nest with the chick and if the female comes down from perching he attacks her. He won't let her sit. The chick is fine but I'm concerned that it's just going to have the male caring for it. Any advice? Thank you!

Just saw the male feed the squab and it's crop is super full so I feel a bit better now👏😌
Just consider him as SUPER DAD........ :thumbsup when second one hatches, he may be running on empty, so spouses' feeding will come in handy..
Is that all the pigeons you have??? this pair and lil ones now?
Post some pix for us to enjoy:love
WISHING YOU BEST................................ :highfive:

I have this pair and another male. Also I'm unsure how to post pics here haha, I'd love to though. The second one hatched today and they both look like Muppets!

Okay I think I got it....! Sorry for the quality, I was trying not to bother them to much.
