'Maters!!!!!

When I was a kid I would just go out to the garden with a salt shaker. nothing better than a sun warmed tomato.

mine are still a few weeks from being ripe. i have 11 plants and they were doing pretty good until 2 nights of heavy rain caused the cages to fall over.

my hubby never reatached the water line for the outside faucet(he cut it before it got cold)so i waited and waited all my seedlings died in the house...
i kill all plants in containers

Hi!
Dukes, Sunbeam (King Thin), and the tomatoes were Park's Whopper and / or Big Beef.

The garden is doing pretty good this year. We've had fresh corn-on-the-cob every night this week. The squash is going gangbusters (picked 2 5-gal buckets this morning), cukes are trying (picked a half-bucket), okra has just started producing (boiled a little pot of a doz or so pods last night), Roma beans (my new favorite) are still producing.
Gardening is strange here. I've said it before, but gardening with my Hubby is like gardening with a 5-year-old. He loves the planting, but it's hard to get him involved much after that until harvest.
