'Maters!!!!!

First year with chickens free ranging was a night mare.
no keep in mind I do not use any chemicals in the gardens.
all of a sudden I was getting nice large maters with tiny little poked holes?
what the heck kind of bug makes these types of holes?
this went on for a week , couldnt find any bug that could be doing this much damage, those poor maters look totally pathetic with those tiny pokey holes in them.

finally one morning going by the garden to gt to the car, ( i normally do not go out side early mornings) and what do I see !
my whole flock of feather dusters poking holes in my hard fought for Maters!!!! they were eating out the seeds one hole at a time!
out of about 20 plants sans the trown out poked holed ones I think I got enough tomatoes to can up 5 qts of Tomatoes.
