Well, I remembered to check the egg I cracked open tonight, and sure enough I have a bullseye. I'm glad to know my rooster is doing his job, and I can work on hatching some eggs when the time does come. Thanks for all the advice!

Cool, Congrats! Once you know what to look for, it's pretty easy and just becomes automatic to check most of them.

It is exciting. I'm really looking forward to my next step in chicken rearing when the time does come. It's gonna be a lot of fun to do it with my daughter and let her see the process too.
