hi
i have some question's about my new black Orpington.
the breeder told me that they are about 8-9 months and the female started to lay.
his black Orpington are so big about 1.5 times taler than my male, he told me at age of 2 years he will be as big as them
at which age the male will be in the maximum height before starting to gain wait?
the male is the same size as the female
in the picture you see other chicken that should be australorp but are not big as should be.
what is the size of bantam Orpington?

The standard goes by weight rather than height though of course a taller one with the correct build will be heavier than a shorter one. They will continue to grow and normally won't be their full stature until around 18 months. At this point all should be somewhere about 6 lbs or more. Fully grown, the girls 8lbs and boys 10.
