So baby 2 is out, it's the previously mentioned Bantam Cochin and appears it's a black (still wet could be blue) with white chest! It's like puppies... I've never seen markings like either of these two in chickens the EE that hatched this morning has little white lines at the edge of each side of it's beak, a white patch in it's beard, and a white belly! From what I've seen of ChooksChick's previous grandchicks these coincide with her blues... But I may be wrong when it comes to this second one! Will post a pic when it's dry enough to move to the brooder to keep the other company!

What am I going to do while I'm away keepin Kansas Speedway safe and secure for the next four nights?!?!

So here's the new blue bantam Cochin...

I just sat down after checking on the EE that's been chirping... Messed around for about 20-30 minutes... Decided to go smoke a cigarette and found this on the way by the bator... I literally watched I hatch out not 5 seconds adherent photo...

A new black orp out of nowhere!!!! The incubator is right next to where I was sitting... Going to have to name it 007 or something! Dry pic soon

So first bad news... The little EE that was chirping quit sometime late tonight.. I opened the egg, it's fully formed... It's almost like it suffocated since it couldn't break out

Okay, all three chicks look black today with white bellies... I give up um guessing colors until they feather out!
