I am so upset! I have to go with my parents to Decoration in Alabama that day!!!

I wonder if I can call in sick, or would my mother know....

I had even started to type a post saying I'd be there but not in the show and then my wonderful family convinced me to, even though I thought I would have no time (busy day) but It all worked out and I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself!

I'll be entering a wcblack Polish hen, a wcblue Polish cock, and a White Rock cockerel that's probably to young to show but I decided to sign him up at the last minute. I'll be selling some white Rock roos and who knows what! Do you think it would be alright to bring mixes? I'll be wearing a navy BYC university shirt.

Glad you put your birds in, ChickNjake!!

You and I will both have birds in the show that are probably too young to show.
But I will be the only dork with a hatchery BO competing against bred birds. I swear DH loves his chicken girlfriend wayyyyyy too much

I will have 2 mutt chicks for sale at the show. One is very pretty, but the other is way too ugly, AND a rooster!

I'm getting excited!!!

Will there be a bunch of people with chicks to sell there??? Like do I need to come ready with a box or something to bring some home?

Can someone list the street address for this show. I need to look up directions as we have never been there or heard of the show site. It should just be a half hour drive for us but I need to know how to get there from here.

Thanks

Tamara

Haha the last time that my chickens really multiplied was when I moved the older 7 girls out on the porch into the bigger brooder box. I have my coop set up outside now but am cleaning/repainting/getting the run around it built so in the mean time I made an addition for the porch brooder and moved the next oldest 10 out to it . . . . so now my bathroom only homes 7 chickens . . . .and lord knows I don't need anymore but man . . . I better bring a box to the show this weekend anyway . . . . I even think my mother wants to come along for the trip, so MAYBE she can be my source of willpower . . . .somehow I doubt it since she is just as excited about coming to the show as I am hahaha

At least I can split the driving with her, I think newport is between 1.5 and 2 hrs from where I am. . . I used to know for sure since I drove it on a regular basis, but it has been a few years since I have made that drive now.
