I'm getting excited too, and a little nervous.
What if no one likes my babies?????

Whew. Okay had to get that out in the open.
DH's BO is a hatchery bird. And my Ameracaunas may be EE's. And my others may all be too young.

But I'm going to have fun and meet BYC folks

Thanks for that address Chicknjake. I will not be buying as I will have a new batch of chicks comming from hatchery tomorrow. I am getting partridge rocks in for I want to bred them up. I will be there to meet others here on BYC and look for a breeder incase I need a rooster since I got just pullets. Was afraid if I did a straight run I would end up with all roosters because of what I had been reading lately. So am taking the chance with just pullets and hoping for a screw up and a rooster or two.

The Cocke County A&I Fairgrounds has 2 driveways, so if you miss the first one the other is just past the fairground's sign.

Those coming from Knoxville:
I-40 eastbound to Exit 432 in Newport, turn left on Hwy 25/70. Farigrounds will be approximately 1.5 miles on right shortly after the KOA Campground sign .


If you're coming from I-40 Westbound (towards Knoxville):
Take Exit 432B in Newport, right onto Hwy 25/70. Fairgrounds on right shortly after KOA Campground sign.

I talked my husband into coming!!!

We are coming to Seiverville for a Volkswagen show on Saturday and he said that we could come by there too!!!!! I am sooooooo excited!! Can't wait to meet my BYC family!

He's only about 2 weeks and I'm not sure on sex yet (I have no clue why I say 'he'). I just went and bought 7 more chicks today so I won't even be able to buy any at the show, lol!!! Plus I have to sell 6 anyway b/c they're OEBGs and other smaller breeds that won't be good egg producers. I may stick a box in the trunk anywas *just in case*

Well, it is amazing how one phone call can change everything. I called my farmstore that is getting in my chicks for me. Turns out ship date has been put back till May 20th. So I just might be picking up some chicks to tide me over.

I will be there too. I will be the slightly overweight guy with a goatee, in bibs and a beer tee shirt, and worn boots and feed store baseball hat. Slight limp--not too bad, and a barn jacket if cold. See you there

Well, it is now confirmed that it will be 3 of us myself, my hubby and 17roses another BYC member. She moved closer to where I live now. So we shall be seeing you all there.
