May 2020 Hatch-A-Long

Here is my first baby out of my own birds.

Oh no I have a hatchet that has yolk still hanging out! It zipped on its own what do I do?

Daub on some coconut oil or neosporin (not the pain relief kind). Put it back in the bottom half of its shell (or A shell, or a paper towel) and set it in a little cup in the incubator until it has finished its little chore.
 
Day 14 update, in the incubator there are 15 left. I had a temperature spike and then the power went out for almost a full day.. so I am glade I have that many.. I did have a lot of infertile also..

Broody is still sitting.. she get confused at time and we have to put her back on the eggs. But thatā€™s never to long of a time period. I donā€™t candle a broody eggs, so we shall see...
