I am currently incubating my first hatch of barnyard mixed from my flock. I'm on day 14 and I have a three dozen eggs coming from Omega Hills shipping out on June 15th. I've been pretty nervous about the shipping aspect for all the reasons you've mentioned. It's encocuraging to hear that despite the obstacles, you still have 11 viable chicks! That's fantastic! Congrats and thanks for sharing!

I have hatched out 10 different sets of shipped eggs since mid March and have only had 4 of those be bad hatches. It really depends on the seller, how clean the eggs are, and how well they are packed and handled (all of mine are from ebay). I have another set of shipped eggs around day 10 and 5 more batches on the way. I hope you have a great shipped hatch!

Finally got my bator and my hatching bator sorted out. There was a pip on a bantam Brahma eggs. Hopefully this time it hatches. She’s been laying for a few months but I have never tried her eggs until now.
