I can join this I have BBS silkies and Swedish flower hens of mine in the incubator and have some under two broody silkies plus have eggs coming from Bobbi Porto any day now so I will have a lot hatching!!

Are they people friendly?

The mom and the blond one are. The bull is not especially dangerous; has never been threatening, but I haven't tried to tame him. They're safer I'm told, if not "tame," but If you want to see an endearing exception, look up "Hamish" on YouTube.

The third female is a meangirl and while I can brush her, she's never been friendly--and she's a bully to Eden (the blond one). I'll offer her for sale once her calf is on the ground. I think she'll be fine around more assertive cattle.

My friend had a couple cows that were really sweet, the bull actually liked scratches but I did it over the fence to keep something between us to be safe. I don't see many people treating their cows like pets like she did so I was curious if it was a breed specific thing that made them so sweet.

My friend had a couple cows that were really sweet, the bull actually liked scratches but I did it over the fence to keep something between us to be safe. I don't see many people treating their cows like pets like she did so I was curious if it was a breed specific thing that made them so sweet.

We we're driving one day and there were about 50 cattle in the road... We stopped and put our four ways on and called the sheriff's department. We were trying to keep them contained until they got there and two bulls decided that they were going to try to charge us welcome to the country.

The road they were on had a speed limit of 55 mph so I didn't want anyone to hit them because I'm sure no one would survive that.
