Look how dark these eggs are compared to my brown layers eggs. I'm so excited!

Eventually I’m going to try to hatch some of those. I bet they are a pain in the butt to candle with them being this dark.

I love Marans eggs! They really set off a mixed egg basket.

From what I’ve read you are going to never have 100% hatch rate, so I expect to lose a few. There are 100s of reasons a egg could go bad, but to try to say the hole lot was bad, when you have a proven track record of good eggs. Ya I don’t think so..

I had one 100% hatch rate, but then one of the chicks died 24 hours later the eggs were from my feral polish she's a wild child.

I figured cutting ties with that person was best since I find it odd that only 12 of 42 are good. That to me says your incubator isn't working or you mishandled them.

I actually have a hatching eggs storage shelf so mine are never mishandled. My father is a genius

I broke one of the maran eggs... Thank goodness it wasn't one of the super dark ones. I told me husband that it was defective anyways because the egg isn't dark enough

I usually try not to candle any of my eggs until day 7. Sometimes I'm not successful at it.

I just popped mine in the bator. I checked all my other eggs and they're all doing good.

He decided to get a bit cocky with me and tell me... I didn't want eggs to eat I wanted fertile ones.

That's what made me tell him we will never do business again.

I have records of all my hatches and I have proof so not my problem.

Yeah, that'd be a nope for me too. What a brat.
