May 2020 Hatch-A-Long

No pips or cracks will throw out eggs tomorrow in the dumpster and try again.
my temp is 36.8 C
Humidity 58 percent can't fill my incubator with water because its full of water in the bottom part under the eggs
The incubator is in a daft area in the basement which is not where I would of put it. my mom isn't smart when it comes to hatching. does not know the first thing about hatching like I do.

What day are you on? Maybe bump your temp up a little? 36.8 C is only 98.24 F - should be between 99-100 F.

I get so many broody hens every year. I strongly believe that raising chicks near their run sends their hormones into overdrive. Every time I raise chicks by the run I end up with broody hens. Or if I get one broody that hatches some chicks then I suddenly have 2-3 more broodies sitting because they're jealous and want chicks too. lol

This must be why ALL of my hens are screaming at me when I open the nest boxes .

Just saw someone already posted same question I did. I have had some pip and hatch on day 23, so don't give up yet.

5 CCL so far, and only one that I think is male! CCL people - do all males look as light and different as the one in my picture? (You can see my coop build in the background! )
Still only one cochin, who is definitely the weakest of the bunch, and one sussex. No action on Broody Judy's eggs yet, but I candled really quickly last night and they were all pushing against the membrane.

Definitely a Roo. depending on the line the CCL comes from, the answer to your question about being that light is, yes they can be. From the hatch on the 4th, I have one roo that hatched almost pure white with that little bit of gray lines on his back that you had to struggle to see.

Dang that FOMO. We have a June hatch a long you could hatch for Father’s Day

Yeah if it ends up a red rooster like the roundhead but coal black eyes like the blue its gonna be wild looking
