~May 4th Hatch~ Whose With Me~~!PICS!~

Mine are due May 5th... I have 12 Jersey Giants & 12 Buff Orpingtons!

Not a peep, not a movement... I keeping pacing and pausing.. looking and listening.. ~sigh~

It is my first hatch and I've had a few issues along the way, however, no bad smells, weeping or exploding eggs - Fingers crossed it continues!
I tried to candle at day 7, but my light wasn't bright enough to see into any of the darker, thicker shells... I was able to see into 3 lighter ones with success - Veins! Nothing after that...

Planning on building a proper candler in a wooden box.. have my plans and shopping list! So, I will try again with a different breed - Red laced Blue Wyandottes and possibly French Copper Marans!

I was so paranoid about this hatch that I swapped out eggs from my genisis hovabator and Im using it as the hatcher since it's the most reliable one I have!

I have the F2 Olive Eggs in the center in the bottom of a strawberry container to keep them separate! I assume that when they hatch they'll look alot like the 1st gen Olive Eggers so I was worried!!!
