Bad news... PD2... my only porcelain passed away last night.

I have no idea! It looked 100% fine yesterday! I went out to the brooder and it was dead under the heating plate. We have it raised enough that they can escape the heat, and it could have come out from the plate.

I didn’t really notice. I probably should pay attention to that. All of his other 4 hatch mates are doing great, but he was the only one that passed.

There really is no telling. Some chicks just don't make it, even if everything appears fine.

And as some of y’all know. PD2 passed away on Monday the 31st. And MF2 isn’t present because MF2 passed away on Wednesday the 2nd of June. I didn’t tell everyone just in case we had more die. So far everyone else is alive. I still don’t know why PD2 and MF2 passed away.

MF3 - Male (pretty unsure about this one.....the comb isn't too big but the stance reminds me more of a boy).

I know I feel so bad. The last d’uccles eye looks swollen and that scares me. I hope MF3 doesn’t die.
