Most of the highschools around us had graduation this week or last week, so I had a lot of last minute cake orders at work and at home (in fact, I need to bake one tonite for church tomorrow night). One of the kennel workers at my moms work quit, so I've also been working there too this week. We worked today until 6pm, we close at 12pm
We had some emergencies to sew up, xray, and what not. I did try to make some blondies last night, but I had to use a different recipe because I couldnt find my usual one, they did not turn out good. They where all nice and puffy, I tapped lightly on the middle to see if it was done, and the whole middle sank down
. UGH, I should have made my stuff last week.

I asked about themHey, don't worry about me, I can wait a few extra days for goodies... Better chance of my husband being home (he travels with work) and actually getting some. A size 4 and a serious sugar addiction do not go well together.
For whoever asked about the cakepops they are everything fabulous about cake dipped in chocolate of any kind and on a stick. I sent my first ever batch to farmerchef and I have gotten even better at them. Now any time anyone invites me to a party I have to spend 2 days making them. It's a super popular thing in bakeries and sweet shops right now.
I looked real quick on here but can't find any directions on how to make them... probably I'm just to tired to find them... I shall search harder tomorrow
THANKS for the reply nickie!!!

That is what I made for my first bake swap on here, lol. They are delicous, and do ship well!I make oreo truffles like that.
I put a box of oreos in the blender/processor until fine.
Dump into a mixer with 1 block (8oz) softened cream cheese and mix.
Chill. Atleast 45 mins.
Use a small icecream scoop (think the one I use is 1 tbsp) to make truffles.
Melt chocolate and dip truffles. I put them on a fork and spoon chocolate over.
To decorate, melt colored chocoalte(like green or mint or tan or pnut butter) and drizzle over. Or when chocoalte is still tacky, roll or sprinkle with crushed oreos, sprinkles, etc.
They have to be kept in the fridge because of the cream cheese, make sure you use an airtight container, or they may end up fridge flavored, if they last that long![]()
I have made these with all the different flavor oreos, I like using the regular double stuft best.![]()
