May hatch-a-long

Seperate her and provide vitamins in her water (chick saver or nutridrench is fine) and food. Try to give scrambled eggs for extra protien and mix the shells back in. You can also use tums crushed for a quick calcium fix. Unfortunatly at that stage she could be to far gone to save, I try not to cull and prefer to give my hens the chance to save themselves. All you can do it try to hydrate and get her to eat, I'm not one for manual feeding but you can carefully give her vitamen water with a medicine dropper please research before doing so. Be sure to feel her abdomen to see if she's egg bound.
i went out there and she had layed an egg next to a waterer which she never does and her crop is mushy thanks so much for you help and i think she my have throw up white stuff and all my hens were eating it what do i do

Is her breath stinky? Is she still acting odd? I'm not sure the treatment for site crop (if her breath is stinky). I know my birds will sometime regurgitate if they ate or drank to much but it's like watery with a white flim. Some eggs with oilve oil or coconut oil may help if her crop is a little impacted but you need to seperate and check her crop tonight and don't give her any food after evening until you can check her crop again in the morning. If its still full in the morning give only water and oils and maybe grit to help her get things moving again. But starter feed should breakdown in its own that's why brooder raised chicks don't need grit right away

I might have a candling problem... lol... if I'm good i can go maybe 2 days in between but I love seeing the development.

Im actually tossing tomorrow as my last rise before hatch day 14. There are 12 of 15 standards 3 standard and all bantam tossed at day 7. Of the 3 i set in question the late bard is clear/not fertile, a second looks bad possibly DIS and rotting looks like a sluge not gold, but it doesn't smell yet so I'm not sure if I should hold it or toss it, i have to decide tomorrow. But it's sorta creeping me out. Three third in question is just really dark and hard to see, can't see veins but did see movement and development so i moved it to good. But I moved another to bad slight development again difficult to see but looks like it stopped growing. Looking at possibly 9 good eggs to continue to lock down, all good development most i saw movement. I'll have to update tomorrow after I recheck and toss.

Any options about the sluge looking egg?

We have a broody (turkey) hen and as of today she is on day 21. We have 21 eggs under her and 11 of them are moving. None are cheeping yet hopefully soon though. She is awfully skinny and has accidentally crushed a few. I would be interested in knowing if anyone else is hatching poults.
I have 8 Turkey eggs set to hatch on May 28 Last year I set 5 and none hatched I am hope this year will be better. Good luck with your hatch.:)
