i candled again and i cant find it it looks like it my have been a vein im sorry for the trouble i was just a little worried thanks so much for your help

It might have been the chicks eye you saw

Day 13 Bantam Cochin egg. There are 30 healthy mixed eggs left. I've purged 4 that stopped developing about day 7 or less.

I also found my good candling flashlight It was in a real odd place where I would have never found it except by accident. Clearly stashed there by me for "safe keeping".

I don’t know what it could have been but the chick looks good I seen something moving by the air cell so maybe she. Will pip first but lock down is still a couple days away

I had one of my duck eggs have an unusual dark spot that I can no longer see but I'm thinking the possibility of it being a vein or blood spot that was being absorbed or changing somehow, being part of the development process.

My first baby has hatched! And it is only day 20! Not sure how my other 8 eggs are doing. Momma hen is keeping everything well covered. But I caught a glimpse of one little guy! Cute little fluffy peeper!

2 tiny Cochin eggs and 8 of the duck eggs are viable at this point. Hopefully Cochins will hatch tomorrow. No pips yet
