LOL, Thank youon my first hatch i could not wait i would check the incubator every five seconds to look for pips and when i seen the first one thats all i could talk about good luck to you and the longest three weeks of incubating eggs lol![]()
Thank youwelcome to the hatch a long
It feels longer under a broody. I think becuase you just can't check as often.I checked under my broody tonight when I closed up the coop. Sigh. End of day 21 and not a pip that I can see. Maybe tomorrow?!
I just wanted to let everyone know everything seems to be going all right.Hi, I put some eggs in an incubator on May 6th.
Several are dark shell so I couldn't really see anything when I candled tonight.

I did get these pictures last night. One is candled and the other is in normal lighting. They are of the same egg.

The egg is from a Welsummer so egg color and speckles are both darker than they seem. Although not as dark or speckles as closely spaced as the others.
Here is another set of two pictures, same situation...colors darker than the normal lighting shows and both pictures of the same egg.

Evidently there was just enough movement in another egg to overbalance it when I tried to get a picture.
Hoping and praying for a successful hatch of healthy chicks.
Just for fun here is a picture of all the eggs.
