We have received 9 poults through out the week thanks to their loving mum, Twilight.

Had 11 of 13 hatch in my last batch! 3 girls 8 boys. :-/ Brings me up to about 30 pullet growouts.

Just finished getting the next two hatches on lockdown. 17 f1 olive Eggers 15 legbars.

Candled my last batch of legbars for the season for the first time. 21 of 22 are developing and that one was a thin shelled so I doubted it would but it's such a pretty blue.

Getting ready to start my first quail incubation memorial day.

We are on day 21 with our broody hen. This is our first time and we are all excited! Caught her off the nest today and noticed no pips. I haven’t candled at all, but after having to clean up a broken egg, and accidentally collecting one she had sat on for a bit, I know they are fertile. Trying to let nature do her thing, but I’m ready for babies!!

Day 23 under broody. I know cuz that's the day I put eggs under her. Couldn't resist candling. She's been such a diligent momma only getting off next every 3 day!!!. I know cuz she's separated from flick in separate box. Anyways, eggs are completely full, air cells nice and big. Hard to see, but I did see good movement. No internal pips. My only guess is the shavings got wet 2x from her spilling her water. So maybe that slowed development? Impatiently waiting!
