May hatch-a-long

Back again. Here is the count from a few minutes ago. Also, all of the hatchlings are mixes so all the breeds referenced are the mother's breed. Only the Welsummers are purebred.

1 Ameraucana
2 OEGB bantam
3 Wyandottes
2 Welsummers have zipped

I have moved the dry chicks to the brooder. Shortly I will be checking on the 2 Welsummers and the RSL.

For the ones that got moved this morning, here goes...

The 3 from Wyandotte eggs.

Or is one of the Wyandottes chipmunk striped? And the second pictured from the Ameraucana? Only time will tell at this point.

Below are pictures of the two OEGB chicks.

One chick has already found food and water without prompting.

Overall I am very pleased.

Three more out of the incubator and into the brooder. I probably could have waited. But the agitation made it seem like a better choice to move them.

Without further ado... 2 Welsummers
