thanks im so sorry about your chickMost of the chicks I've had under broody hens have hatched at day 21 or sometime day 22 so hopefully you'll have a chick soon, I know it's hard to be patient though!
I candled the egg that was no longer rocking/peeping and there was no movement so I decided to make a little hole in the air cell. The chick had pipped internally but had a really severe scissor beak and must have been unable to break through the shell and had died
The two that hatched seems to be doing well though (although the warren x is quite small compared to the dorking x).
