I'm done with brooding hens
I'm ganna build my own incubator
16 eggs none hach
cost me more a lot
don't know way but all the eggs died after they became chicks with a bit of water inside the eggs
i well report back after I build incubator

no the humidity is normal but maybe there is something wrong with my hen or the place that she was sitting on
these days the weather is hot and some times Raney but the hen was inside my house.

My mail order silkies eggs have started to hatch! Three out, four to go.
It will be nice to add some new colors to our flock.

I have 19 eggs in the incubator and were due to hatch tomorrow. This morning I woke up to 2 Ayam Cemani chicks, 2 BCM, and one Icelandic that were hatched and peeping. 5 others have pipped, so I'm crossing my fingers!

....feelin' antsy....
Waiting for the sun to go down, so I can candle and weigh one last time before lockdown. Have 13 going at the moment.... ~crossing fingers~ that I get a decent number still viable.

I put 35 eggs on lockdown last night. 2 I think are clear but they are darker shells so I left them to make sure. Today I have seen 4 eggs moving and I can hear one chirping. I have company coming this weekend and I should be cleaning but instead I find myself glued to the incubator window
