Oh My Goodness - you got me thinking - counting the eggs in the bator, the chicks I already have hatched and my 13 grown chickens - that totals up to - WOW - 82!! And I already have the next hatch planned for two dozen (maybe three dozen) guinea eggs. OH MY

Oh i didn't even count the ones already hatched... Or adults... Or teens...
So add another 37... Yikes!! 123!!!!! I know there are others out there worse than that.... Yes?

It's good that he's taking his time and resting during the hatch. Don't worry :)

Everyone else that are having hatching time today: Good luck, hope it goes as planned! Keep us posted :)

I've been pretending to have a life today, running some errands and actually spending some time with people (I don't count the kids, they're my genes lol). Definitely helps to pass some time until my hatch! Tomorrow is national day in Norway and I'm planning to spend it in front of my incubator.. .:pop
. U can just turn it into national hatch day Mel , shoot a email to the king and ask for a royal proclamation lol

Wasn't thinking and I have eggs due on the 30th. With all the collecting setting and trying decide what to save what to refridgerate I been cross eyed. Have 39 chicken due 30th. 57 guinea due June 10th. Also a broody due around the 3rd with 12 eggs and just got 34 eggs in mail will set saturday cuz really bad packing/shipping job. With these I'm gonna toss a handful of my BA's for more pures since I have 4 birds and may have to cull a roo thats limping today.

Called about state NPIP and looks like wil be fall before testing since I have birds from multiple flocks/hatcheries. But wife gave me go ahead on converting 1/2 our barn to housing. 15x40 is my workable space. That can hold alot of birds, LOL.

Hoping I get some guineas hatched since the eggs we found we out in bad weather last week. Few frosty nights and 70 degree days to make it all messy. I have a few people that want guineas but don't want to sell my breeders until i KNOW I have keets. But everyone wants them NOW. This isn't drive up burger stand these things take time people.

Anyway will try keep involved in thread but gonna be busy around the farm for awhile.

BTW I afraid to count all my adults, chicks and other birds I have running around. Looks like around the end of the barred/leghorn hatch will be around 200 birds. And thats if hatches goes 50ish or even less. Not counting any magical keets poof out of nowhere.
