May Hatch Thread--Fill up those bators n' broodies!

Wow, I'm having a heck of a time trying to keep up with this thread!
Anyways, congrats to every one with chicks!

*Update*
My duck eggs are two weeks into the incubation. I candled them, and all seven were alive and VERY active. I'm getting anxious for them to hatch so I can see what they look like!

my call duck eggs is feisty in it's shell!I know what my saxonies should look like, but my call could be anything!

Well I did the egg shuffle this morning to lock down my immigrant eggs so I will have staggered hatches in one bator as the hova continues the 7 cochin eggs due to hatch the 31 st a cross continental hatch with jnj so I was about 10 hrs late getting them moved over to the hatcher but all should be well the 7 Silkie eggs I was gonna give up before moving the others are once again rolling and I have heard a few chirps coming from the hatcher so I think 1-2 might have a chance no external pips yet but we will see how the day plays out

Coyote populations are booming around me and yes, they have been running in packs. They do especially in winter when it is cold and food is scarce. I prefer to mount them vs. just shoo them away ;) but that might be because i am a taxidermist.
. Well to some just shooting them might sound a little harsh but when WE you know the smart humans took away the only natural predator that kept there populations in check it is up to us the smart humans to act to balance out the lack of predation if we don't we have the problem of over population just saying

. Exactly. done of the cities near me have hired sharp shooters to thin out the populations. There is too many and many are carrying mange and distemper, all of which can be transferred to your house hold canines. Even reports of children getting attacked while walking home from school
