May Hatch Thread--Fill up those bators n' broodies!

I have a chick Its yellow with orange legs. I'm thinking BO. Anyone else have any ideas?

It's day 22 and still nothing from the other eggs. I really hope I don't have just one chick...

My speckled Sussex hen decided to go broody just about 24hrs after I came home with 3 chicks from a swap meet.  The week old chicks are in the brooder/tractor - the hen & eggs (3) are in the coop's nest box.  This is all new to me and I'm trying to decide if I should move Sola (the hen) to the tractor and see if she will raise the chicks?  Or just let her be until she hatches (    ) and THEN move her and the chicks to the tractor... but then the chicks who are in there will be about 5 weeks old... ? 
Help?

. You need to let her brood eggs she just kicked in and most likely will not want to take on chicks at this stage let her set and hatch her eggs and brood the chicks in a brooder then after her hatch you can try to add the chicks into the mix even though they will a three week head start she may brood them and hers is she is in the mood and does not feel threatened by the larger chicks good luck

Ok so there is this snobby snooty lady on the hatch a holics page, she REFUSES to sell any hatching eggs to people who hatch in styrofoam incubators! Who died and left her hatch queen???? I was very shocked as I have known her for quite some time on many different sites and threads. She raises Tolbunts, and has told me she would be voicing her opinion to all Tolbunt sellers she knows. That these birds were too rare to let eggs go to waste and not hatch because they were placed into inferior incubators!!! I quit smoking 3 weeks ago today, and last night I got so upset I really wanted to smoke, but I didnt
Oh gosh I need to go check my bator....its styrofoam and I dont want it to kill my chicks! I now want to get a fabulous hatch just so I can show her!

Wow... Some people just don't understand! Hope you do have a GREAT hatch!!! We'll have to work on finding you local Tolbunts! I will reach out to some peeps I know here... How far away are you from Lake Ozark?

I just put a mixture of 17 eggs in my incubator on Cinco de Mayo night for a hatch date of Memorial Day I hope! This is my second try at incubating, so wish me luck!

Hey im in the same boat. Second time incubation on cinco de mayo night hoping for memorial day hatch . Accept i put 42 eggs in

2pm tomorrow is hatch time, but when my broody got off the nest today, the eggs are not moving or pipped. Shouldn't I see something today? I'm so nervous. If nothing hatches ill have to find day old chicks and I really want one of these expensive eggs to hatch!

Hi Everyone,
Have been following along but have not had much to report.
I put way to many eggs in the bater.......50 some .Meant for 42.
Candled the other night thinking I would make room with clears.....but only had 7
Lockdown for me is Monday..............Have BO's, SS, Serama and English Orps.................
Have enjoyed the conversations and Pictures.............
That's about it .Happy hatching.................
