Good Luck to everyone with there hatches!! :) So exciting, this is only my second attempt at hatching and I see many more in the future!!

. It sounds good to me,,, I use a similar method I use my humidity as a tool to control my air cell growth I keep them at 30-35% till lock down at day 8 when I candle for the first time I mark air cell growth and add or subtract moisture as needed I let the egg tell me what it needs not the instruction in the icubator box ,,, if they are all popping at once you must have something right if they are not to small and weak from to much evaporation during incubation I would continue to use the same method and enjoy the pop corn when it pops lol
another thing to consider is you temp the only thing that will delay the hatch is a low incubation temp it can extend thing several days double check your equipment for calibration if the hatch time you are seeing are consistent and the rates are good you may be a few degrees low on temps ?

Oh I know! Waiting until the first candling was just the hardest thing. Time just ddrraaggeedd.
But then it seemed like lock down came in a hurry and I felt totally unprepared when I heard chirping last night. Lol. Now I am a nervous mommy watching them hatch and stumble around the incubator. :D. I'm so afraid to do something wrong.

Good luck with your hatch! I hope the time flies for you.

I just candled my 28 day 7's and took out 4 that were definite bloodrings. Marked 10 as developing, 7 as looks clear 5 watch and 2 (plus 2 of the developing ones) as possible bloodrings. So despite to 108 temp spike on day 3, for shipped eggs I don't think that's too bad... Well... Actually only 22 were shipped... And 3 of the 4 i pulled were from that group...my other 5 eggs are developing or watch... :D.

that's cool at least they did not hard boil or bake or what ever good deal

Can I join? My broody's eggs are due to hatch on the first of June, but I have a feeling that they're going to hatch earlier.

Question, I have one egg that pipped at 4:00 am that hasn't started zipping yet. He has a pip about the size of a pea and sticks his beak out and chirps but isn't making much effort to do anything. Another one has managed to stick his right foot through the shell and his head is under the leg. He's been stuck like this for about 5 hours.

At some point should I assist one of these two with their predicament?

Thanks.
