That is awesome! I have had terrible luck with broodies.... I will probably try again next spring with my own eggs and a beter set-up. Have fun with the hatch!

Cream Legbars. What if it hasn't pipped the shell? I have been tempted to poke a small hole into the air cell to be sure it can breathe, but I am reluctant to interfere with the natural process. I would guess it is nearing the 24 hour timeframe for the internal pip. I know peeps die after internal pipping all of the time, but I am so anxious for this little one to make it! I know that is influencing my thought process though, thus my reluctance to do anything. How long do I let things ride?

Its only day 20 here and I have 2 that have internally pipped. So I know your excitement!

Lol oh my the hits keep comin lol he looks great jac I can remember the anticipation of his arrival he was one lucky frizzeld sizzle I have his name sakes kids hatching as we speak ,,, let lil fidel know his name sake is proud of him and to take the sizzle revolution to the people VIVA FIDEL VIVA !!!! Lol

They are Cream Legbars. It appears that they are also both cockerels. Sigh. Crossing my fingers that the chirping egg makes it through hatch and it's a girl! Wouldn't mind if the last 2 eggs hatched either. I was really hoping for a trio, but a pair would be better than a bunch of bachelors!

Yes but legbar roos are beautiful!!!!! I so miss my boy. This is blue he sadly died this winter. He was one of the first batch of chicks we hatched and sure enough he emerged that darn yellow colour when really we wanted a toffee coloured hen chick! Darn we had to send him away - what a shame! I wish I could have more Legbars and I do hope you get a hen. Also this one was hatched day 27! So don;t give up on those eggs too soon!

Put my eggs that I forgot to write the set date down.in the hatcher....................
Just have to hope for the best I guess.................
Set humidity at 35 because the air cells are small, but eggs definitely full of chicks.........................

Will just watch like crazy I guess and hope I see the first pip..................
Thank goodness, they are mixed chicks from my flock.
That is about all that is happening here..................
Going to try to move my second Broody today.............
Putting an ad in CL for some of the hatched chicks...have way more than I want to raise............

Actually.they are kind of EVERYWHERE...........................

Other than that. .just enjoying the conversations ..................

You really think anyone is going to take this dude serious???? And Fidel is a Frizzled Polish. Not sure of his color, like it matters what color you are when your feathers can do THIS!!!
