Oh boy, I forgot all about that...and poor hubby has to work the last of his 7 day week tomorrow. Hope the natives don't get too restless.

Personally, I dont celebrate Mexican Independence day which is what Cinco de Mayo is for those of you who dont know. I do however celebrate the 4th of July the Independence Day of our great country.
Not against having some burritos or tacos though.....
I probably wont be praying either, there are enough out there in the world praying for me that I think I have it covered.......( I write all of this with tongue firmly placed in cheek btw)

I am however celebrating the 4th, I will do so with my favorite quote.

Judge me by my size do you? Where as you should not? For my ally is the force, and a powerfull ally it is.

My brother got married on July 5th. My SIL said it was so he would see the fireworks on the Fourth and remember what would happen should he forget their anniversary. I don't think the lad has ever forgotten the day.

I actually don't celebrate Cinco de Mayo either. I will be eating mexican food tomorrow (if we can get in the door), but that is because that is where my advanced students chose to eat for our final class. Thankfully we have a backup restaurant in mind should be not be able to get in the mexican place.

I pretty much figure in these times that EVERYDAY should be a National Day of Prayer.

Having been born on Star Wars Day, I've been telling people, "May the Fourth be with you" for many years on this date.

What am I missing here? I've been seeing this all day, here, on Facebook, etc. I get the reference to the 4th, but come no one says this on the 4th of any other month??
