GEE I DUNNO FROM MY UNTRAINED EYE THEY LOOK ..... UM OH WHATS THE PHRASE??? OH YEAH! ALIKE, AS IN IDENTICAL, REMARKABLY SIMILAR?? NOT TO MENTION THEY COME FROM THE SAME MANUFACTURER IN THE SAME FORMULA... BUT 1 IS IN A SMALL BAG WITH A REALLY BIG PRICE TAG AND THE OTHER IS IN A BIG BAG WITH AN ALMOST BIG PRICE TAG. STARTRENA IS ALSO AN EXTRUDED CRUMBLE.... LIKELY BECAUSE ITS MADE THE SAME PLACE AS THE MAZURI??

I was told Purina and Mazuri is the same....I have Mazuri waterfowl feed for some geese but other than that if you want a good feed for quail stick with what's in your price range and good for your birds...for Game birds (Japanese Coturnix, African Harlequin (coturnix), Bobwhites....etc) Purina, Manna Pro, Southern States....I am still trying to find the suitable diet for the "Chinese Blue Breasted quail (buttons) but they get currently what the Coturnix get...one day I will find the solution to their diet..

SORRY BUT I DONT THINK I SPECIFIED ON THIS POSTING.... PMI NUTRITION INTERNATIONAL IS THE MAKER OF/ REGISTERED BRAND OWNER FOR ALL MAZURI BRAND FEEDS....... NOW CHECK THE QUOTATION AND YOU'LL SEE WHO OWNS PMI.... WHICH STANDS FOR PURINA MILLS INCORPORATED

Purina Gamebird & Mazuri Gamebird are NOT identical, the ingredients in Mazuri are better. Can't find fish meal & alfalfa or other things in Purina. Why use it for chickens? Purina & many other many other poultry feeds are vegetarian, dusty and basic 16% protein. Would never feed Layena. I do hate to patronize PMI, but the Mazuri looks pretty good.

Nobody ever told you that you can't feed it. We juat told you not to blow your dady's money on a pretty bag. The quail don't care if they have a pretty bag, all they care about is that it fills them up, and then they will go be quail.
