BTW I Love Paso Finos!
Almost got into Peruvian Pasos at one time.
Never showed on the A circuit but its was bad enough even for my son in 4-H, high school equestrian team and open shows.

I was too just down to earth, self deprecating and humorous to fit in. You would of thought I had 2 heads.

Cool bio... did it freak out the organization? I am surprised you were not edited....

Most of those involved in PF's are just so self absorbed. You are not allowed to admire a horse without having to hear all about it's linage and what they personaly have done to improve this or that... Showing becomes their world and they have a very narrow focus for anything else. And seeing the same 20 people over and over and over...booring!

Well I hope none of those folks are hanging out here either! Probably not

My current facination is my little milking herd, cheese making, growing and canning my own veggies and messing around on my little farm. That to me is real life.

I'm with you.
I love being on the farm with my critters and garden.
I always wanted a Jersey cow but ended milking lovely Nubian dairy goats for 10 years. Miss my goats but I will always have a BIG empty part if my heart due to not having horses anymore.

Don't be surprised about the old farts.
I know for fact they snoop around but they know we're just kidding...right guys?

It's just as I wrote it. I threw in the part about my husband as it is so true, if me and my chickens ever disappear, you know where to point the finger...

I like showing my horse at the local shows. I really need to find time to get on him and ride. Too much going on, good thing he is young. The people at the local level are alot nicer than those at the breed shows. I show at one breed show each year it is the AQHA that combines a buckskin show in it.

I am fortunate that my horse does well, but he is a solid paint and we get snotty looks about it.

Gracie started going to the shows with me this year, so that has made it more fun. I am teaching her stuff and we have met some nice people.
