Mealworm questions

I started farming mealworms in December of last year. I'm new at this and ordered 1100 mealworms from Amazon. They were all health and I set up two containers. One container for the mealworms and another for the adults. My adult box consist of two containers. The top container holds the adults with a screen so that the eggs will fall into the container below. I have been very successful in harvesting the pupas from the mealworms. I also have been successful in harvesting the adult beetles from the pupas. My question is can you have too many adult beetles in a container? My next question is when should I expect to see hatched eggs?

It is possible to overstock bins...be it worms or beetles, but that takes a lot of either. One number that gets bandied about is 7-11 beetles per square inch (which is a lot if you think about it). I just try to keep things looking "right" in my bins, I dont count.
Hatchlings are hard to see, by about two weeks, if you stir the bedding you'll see it start to move, that's the babies.

i think 7-11 per sq inch is way to many. 3-5 would probably be better. To many beetles and they will eat some of the eggs since they are laid on the bedding. Also you dont want to have to many worms per container as it stun the growth rate.
