@RavynFallen She has Calls. My ducks love them I have Muscovy, Runner and Buff. I don't see why they wouldn't be ok for Calls. @cottoncandy

Yep! Just fine for Calls... in moderation, of course... some of mine love them all the time, anytime... a few of mine will only go crazy for them when they're actively laying... and they enjoy a few when brooding too, but not as vigorously...

To Io and Cocoa Pop it's like ducky crack...
Lady Grey and Crash don't care for them when they aren't laying though... but as soon as they are laying, they gobble them up... now that they're both brooding together again, they eat a few and leave the rest... or play with them, lol...

If the ducks and chicks eat mealworms at ages 3wks and 4wks do they need grit, as well?
They need grit if they eat anything other than their starter feed. so yes.
