Mealworms

I've looked through the forum and I haven't found a specific answer to this question: are the mealworms for wild birds OK to feed to my flock? I have been feeding them meal worms that I bought for my wild birds, until I read on the bag that they're "intended only for feeding wild birds". Now I'm worried.

They are fine. They're brought over in bulk from China then parceled into the various different packages anyway, so the same thing is in your bag as the mealies specifically labeled for chicken treats.

There are plenty of mealworm farmers (including myself) in the States as well.
