Its natural for them to squabble and as some said they are working out a pecking order. Even a roo (cockeral, hatchling) shouldn't be that aggressive at 3 days old. Some people refer to all hens younger than laying age as pullets, including the TSC flyer I got in the mail. Some people refer to any rooster younger than one year as a cockeral. Some people call all young birds chicks. Some folks call Easter Eggers "Muffs." I myself call any male pheasant of any age a rooster. A Coturnix Quail has many names ( Bible quail, Pharoah's Quail, Japanese Quail, )There are folks from all over on here, no one is really wrong or right, we just have different backgrounds and experiences.
