Mean chickens

Hi all! So i have noticed over the last few days that most of my hens seem ornery...they are used to getting a "snack" daily with different stuff daily for a snack but its as of a few days that i have gotten a lower egg production and hens are fighting over the fresh laid eggs and literally eating the whole egg i only know because i find some of the wet yolk in the nesting box and i witnessed 3 fighting over one egg! What should i do?

A bit more information is needed about your birds and set up. To me it sounds like a protein deficiency or boredom or too much energy. Feed a higher protein feed, or let them out to range or increase their area. Just some guesses without more information.

How many birds?
How big is coop and run in feet by feet?
What and how exactly are you feeding?
