Mean Kids

Um, no this is not acceptable. You do not retaliate in this manner for the reasons you stated, they may be going through something and you have no idea what that might be.

I'm with you. I've watched girl drama for years at school, and retaliation never leads to anything good. The girls that are most successful walk away from the drama with their own circle of friends. They politely refuse to be the ping-pong ball between the queen bees and cultivate friends and interests elsewhere. It's not always easy, but it beats being in the middle of the drama.

Well when the kids were telling DD that she had rabies I told her to tell them she had not been bitten by a rabid animal, but they had head lice and couldn't prove they didn't. It was mainly 2 boys and this one girl. They stopped for awhile.

As long as the others follow the lead of the mean kids nothing will change.

I didn't have time to read all the posts, but that is just awful. I was bullied for years, and it was horrible. I never really got over it, and I'm still depressed because of it. I had one friend

That's a hard situation. I just grew out of the personality that caused it, and I'm a lot better now. Your child is very lucky to have animals. When this was happening I had one hermit crab... the only thing close to farm animals I've had is 3 chicks I had to sell. Animals help, always do.

It does get better, and it works to confront them sometimes. The people bullying me didn't even know, I don't think, and when I started standing up to them, it helped, a lot. Good luck, and if this doesn't go away, remember it will eventually end, and I'm glad I got bullied, because it made me... me
