Mean male duck....

Hi guys! I have this drake who loves to bite me whenever I put my hand near him. He real loves to go after me when I walk away or when i pet his girlfriend. I don't understand this! Can anyone please help me to stop him from doing this? I have already tried grabbing his beak but he still continues to bite me. Thank you!

Ducks can be ornery. I have a male who's pretty mean. There's really no way to control their behavior. That's just their personality.

haha! Thanks guys! And on a totally unrelated note. I just built this incubator but the lightbulb is to hot, it is 40 watt. Can you please help me with that? Thank you!

I'm afraid I'm no expert on handmade incubators. I don't trust myself to make a good one, so I bought mine. My only issue with having one bulb is you may have some serious temperature inconsistencies from one side of the bator to the other, unless you installed a fan to circulate the air..

There are a lot of homemade bator threads on here! Sorry, I haven't paid attention to what they say on light bulbs, but I think most use a small computer fan to circulate the air. They are cheap and easy to get, and work great. Good luck! and post some pics ~!
