Meaning of my rooster’s vocalization

he’s doing that when he sees a flying predator, or a seagull, or a tweety bird. It’s an arial alarm call to the hens. They all do it!

My group of 6 healthy birds is super-vocal, including the hens.

They make what seems like dozens of different sounds.

They are definitely talking.

I would describe some of the rooster's sounds as "guttural".

Sometimes the small flock seems like one big, slow, Analog computer.

Also, they seem to be camera shy. If they are busy talking and a lay down a smartphone near them in record mode, they usually go silent.

ESPECIALLY the largest rooster.
